What to expect after you said yes!
CONGRATULATIONS!
You will be receiving your sales agreement from our management team, to review your invoice. The sales agreement is a document that will have your order outlined and broken down to confirm we are all on the same page and the details are in order.
Once we receive your gown, we would notify you via email and schedule a try-on/review appointment. Please note, this will not be a fitting.
During that appointment you would try on your gown to give it a quick review of the fit and fall back in love with it.
From there, you can have the gown shipped out-of-state (shipping fees are listed on your invoice) or you can take the dress home with you that day - NY State taxes are then collected should you decide to take the dress with you.
Taxes are not added to your invoice at the time of order, so you have some time to review your options.
How to Plan for Alterations
After your review appointment, is when you would schedule your fitting appointment with your seamstress of choice. You are most welcome to use our recommended seamstresses found on your sales agreement. You may also have your gown altered by a seamstress of your choice or one close to home, should that be more convenient for you.
Please have your shoes and undergarments (if you are planning to wear any in particular) by your first fitting. Plan to bring them with you for every fitting.
Alterations on average are completed in 3 separate visits, and they are done in a 6-8 week time frame. The last fitting takes place anywhere from 3-2 weeks from your wedding date. Your seamstress will also be guiding and advising throughout the process.

No News is Good News
Rest assured, we are closely monitoring your gown and it is on its way to you. Expect to hear from us as we get closer to your estimated arrival date. In the meantime, you can check this one big (and wonderful) decision off your list, so that you can keep finalizing your wedding details.
